BTTN e-commerce overhaul

BTTN is a wholesale distributor of premium name-brand medical supplies, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceuticals.

The company’s e-commerce platform is built on BigCommerce, and the decision was made to optimize it with a focus on increasing conversions while preserving the existing branding. This overhaul began as a brainstorming exercise to be presented to leadership and board members. After receiving positive feedback, it evolved into a business plan. As a result, we are now working on a comprehensive overhaul where we are focusing on improving our current solutions one step at a time, testing the hypotheses and measuring the impact as we progress.

My Contributions

  • Creating the competitor analysis where a major part of the e-commerce funnel was aduted for Henry Schein, Medical Rite, McKesson, and other competitors.
  • Analysis of the qualitative and quantitative insights of existing platform, along with a detailed plan addressing the major challenges.
  • Presentation of the planned sollution to the company leadership.
  • Work on high-fidelity mockups with several design reviews and iterations.
  • Final solution presentation to the main stakeholders and the engineering team addressing the project.
  • Support during the building phase to address tweaks and to cover any missing edge cases.
